Pinot-noir grape variety, clay-limestone soil with very little bottom, rock in places at 30 cm.
Plot of 65 ares planted twice in 1952 and 1977. Magnificent terroir dominating the city of Beaune, located in the middle of the hillside and near Pommard.
It is rich, powerful and complex. Aromas of blackcurrant, morello cherry, spicy notes with a finer profile on this 2017, typical of the vintage. Aging for 14 months in French oak barrels, 25% of which are new.
It can be kept 8 to 10 years.
Goes very well with any white and red meat, especially game and of course cheese.
